Paul Laurence Dunbar House Historic Site

Re-opening date - June 18, 2021:

Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, in partnership with the Ohio History Connection, and Dayton History are pleased to announce the Paul Laurence Dunbar House Historic Site will re-open to the public on Friday, June 18, 2021. Come take a tour, get your NPS passport stamped, and learn about the life and work of Paul Laurence Dunbar!

The visitor center and house will be open Friday through Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tours of the historic house will be held once an hour, on the half hour, beginning at 10:30 am; the last tour of the day will begin at 3:30 pm.


Reservations are encouraged, but not required. To schedule a tour, please e-mail Brad Sauls at: bradley_sauls@nps.gov. There is no fee to tour the facility.


Masks or facial coverings for fully vaccinated individuals are not required in accordance with guidance from the CDC.
