Open Aircraft Days at NMUSAF

May through August dates:

On Open Aircraft days, visitors will have the unique opportunity to look inside one of the museum’s aircraft from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. unless otherwise noted. (The list of aircraft is updated quarterly)


Saturday, May 21, 2022 - Look inside the cockpit of the HH-3E "Jolly Green Giant" (Sikorsky) on left and the CH-3E "Black Mariah" (Sikorsky) on the right.

 

Upcoming Dates:

• Saturday, June 4 - Monday June 6, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day: :B-17F Memphis Belle

• Saturday June 25 - Sunday June 26, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day: F-86A "Sabre" (North American) AND MiG-15bis (Mikoyan-Gurevich)

• Saturday, Aug 13: "B-24D "Liberator" (Consolidated)


The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio, is the world’s largest military aviation museum.
