Get Ready for the Brickmaster Showcase at the WACO Air Museum!

Saturday, March 1, 2025, 11 am-5 pm:

WACO Education Center & Air Museum -WACO Air Museum, 1865 S. County Rd 25A, Troy, OH 45373

Get ready for an exciting, hands-on adventure at the WACO Air Museum's Brickmaster Showcase! The highlight? The "Miami County Memories" Contest—a chance for everyone to bring their favorite local memories to life with LEGO bricks! So, dump those buckets of multi-colored LEGOs and get started—prizes are waiting to be awarded to some deserving LEGO architect, just like you! It’s a fantastic opportunity for students, families, and LEGO enthusiasts of all ages to get creative, showcase their building skills, and share their memorable moments of Miami County.

Whether it’s the thrill of watching a WACO airplane fly overhead, the joy of attending the Bradford Pumpkin Festival, or a relaxing afternoon in downtown Tipp City, we want to see your Miami County memories recreated in stunning LEGO form.

Here’s How It Works:Build your contest entry at home and deliver it to the museum for judging! Entries should be dropped off at the WACO Air Museum on February 14th, 15th, or 16th during regular business hours. There are entry categories for all ages—5-8 years, 9-12 years, 13-16 years, Adult, and Group Build—so whether you're a young builder or a seasoned LEGO architect, there’s a category for you!

Then, on March 1st, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., bring your family and friends to the WACO Air Museum for a truly spectacular experience. The winners will be announced, and exciting prizes will be awarded. And that’s just the beginning! OKI LUG, the Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana Tri-State LEGO Users Group, is bringing a giant LEGO exhibit to the event! This incredible non-profit organization, with over 70 members strong, will showcase some of their massive and awe-inspiring creations. You won’t want to miss these remarkable builds! You can check out more of their amazing work at www.OKILUG.com.

But that’s not all! At the event, we’ll have a free-build area where you can get creative, contribute to our LEGO graffiti wall, try your hand at LEGO puzzles and games, snap some fun photos, and much more! It’s the perfect opportunity for all ages to play, explore, and get inspired by the world of LEGO. Of course, all local contest entries will also be displayed, so you’ll have the chance to see how your creations stack up alongside the extraordinary LEGO builds of OKI LUG!

Plus, Culver’s is back again, sponsoring the LEGO Scavenger Hunt! Participants will get a delicious ice cream token after completing the hunt—what a sweet way to cap off the day!

WACO is also looking for vendors to sell used and retired LEGO sets. This is the place to move along those sets that have been taking up space in your closet! For young LEGO enthusiasts (and the young at heart), this is one of the highlights of the event.

We can’t wait to see how you bring your favorite Miami County moments to life with LEGO bricks!  For more details on how to enter, vendor opportunities, and the full rules, visit www.wacoairmuseum.org.

We are grateful to Collins Aerospace, who proudly sponsors all WACO programming.
