B-17 Liberty Belle Return to England:

Thursday, March 6th at 11:00am

Presented by Frank Drain, B-17 Flight Crew Member & CAM Volunteer

In 2008, the Liberty Foundation was invited to fly their B-17 Liberty Belle to England to attend the Duxford Flying Legends Airshow.  The B-17 flew the World War II Northern Ferry Route from Bangor, Maine > Goose Bay > Greenland > Iceland > Prestwick, Scotland > Duxford.  This is the story of that trip, told by Frank Drain, a member of the 2008 flight crew.
