Aviation Trail Announcement

At a press conference on August 19, 2016, Aviation Trail announced the acquisition of two historic buildings in the Hoover Block of Dayton's West Third Street in the Wright-Dunbar neighborhood. The Pekin Theater building and the Fish Market buildings lie just to the east of the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park building at the corner of S. Willliams and W. Third. The plans are to renovate the buildings and the facility into an aviation educational site. The announcement was made at ATI's annual celebration of the August 19 birthdays of Orville and Katherine Wright, and National Aviation Day. (See the previous post of August 15, and the "Events" page for more on the celebration).
