The Waco Aircraft Company was the world's largest manufacturere of civilian airplanes during the 1920's and 1930's.  The WACO Museum tells the story of the Troy company through photographs, original artifacts and memorabilia.  The WACO Historical Society, operator of he Museum, also has developed a 1930's-type crass airfield at 1865 South County Road 25A, where WACO and similar aircraft can land and take off.  A restored 1856 barn, relocated to the airfield serves as part of the learning center.
