The Waco Aircraft Company was the world's
largest manufacturere of civilian airplanes during the 1920's and
1930's. The WACO Museum tells the story of the Troy company
through photographs, original artifacts and memorabilia. The
WACO Historical Society, operator of he Museum, also has developed
a 1930's-type crass airfield at 1865 South County Road 25A, where
WACO and similar aircraft can land and take off. A restored
1856 barn, relocated to the airfield serves as part of the learning
center.

from major highways:
From the North: Take
I-75 to County Road 25A south of Troy. At the top of the exit
ramp, turn left onto Route 25A heading northeast toward Troy.
Travel 1.5 miles to the airfield and future museum site on the right
(east) side of the road. For the Museum, continue north
into Troy. County Road 25A becomes Market Street. The
Museum is downtown above Award One on the right (east) side of the
street, a block south of the fountain.
From the South: Take I-75 to County Road 25A south of Troy.
